Overview

Sacred Novenas is a Catholic prayer companion app. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Information We Collect

• Email address — only if you choose to sign in. Used solely to authenticate your account and verify Premium access.
• Prayer progress — stored locally on your device only. We do not transmit or store your prayer history on our servers.
• Favorites — stored locally on your device only.
• Push notification preferences — stored locally and with our notification provider (OneSignal) if you enable reminders.

Information We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect your name, location, or any personal details beyond your email address.
• We do not track your prayer habits or activity.
• We do not sell or share your data with third parties for advertising.
• We do not use analytics tools that track personal behaviour.

How We Use Your Email

Your email address is used only to:

• Send you a one-time sign-in code (OTP) when you request it
• Verify your Premium access status
• Send transactional emails related to your account (e.g. payment confirmation)

We will never send you unsolicited marketing emails without your explicit consent.

Payments

Premium subscriptions are processed securely through Flutterwave (NGN) or Apple In-App Purchase. We do not store your payment card details. All payment processing is handled by our payment providers under their respective privacy policies.

Push Notifications

If you enable daily prayer reminders, we use OneSignal to deliver notifications. OneSignal may collect your device token for the purpose of delivering notifications. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings. For more information, see OneSignal's Privacy Policy.

Data Storage

Your prayer progress, favorites, and preferences are stored locally on your device using browser storage. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly sign in, at which point only your email address is transmitted to verify your identity.

Your Rights

• You can sign out at any time to disassociate your email from the app.
• You can request deletion of your account data by contacting us.
• You can clear all local data by clearing your browser/app storage.
