1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Sacred Novenas ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Sacred Novenas is a Catholic prayer companion app that provides novena prayers, daily prayers, and related devotional content. The App is available as a free version with limited content and a premium version with full access to all prayers and features.

3. Subscriptions and Purchases

Sacred Novenas offers the following premium options:

Monthly Subscription: Auto-renewable subscription at $5.99/month (or local equivalent). Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
Lifetime Access: One-time purchase of $39.99 (or local equivalent) granting permanent access to all premium content.

You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your Account Settings on the App Store after purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

4. User Accounts

You may create an account to sync your progress and favorites across devices. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account. You may delete your account at any time from within the App.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the App for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or distribute the App
Interfere with the App's functionality or servers
Reproduce or redistribute prayer content from the App without permission

6. Intellectual Property

The App, its design, code, and original content are the property of Sacred Novenas. Traditional Catholic prayers included in the App are part of the public domain of the Catholic faith. The App's presentation, layout, and features are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

7. Disclaimer

Sacred Novenas is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. The App provides devotional content and is not a substitute for participation in the sacramental life of the Church.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sacred Novenas shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify users of significant changes through the App.
