Chaplet of Saint Joseph
The Chaplet of Saint Joseph, honoring his seven sorrows and joys and invoking his powerful intercession.
The Chaplet of Saint Joseph honours his seven sorrows and joys, from the doubt of his betrothal to the finding of Jesus in the Temple. It invites you to meditate on each event while praying Our Fathers, Hail Marys and Glorias, and to ask his powerful intercession. It is an ideal prayer for March, for Wednesdays and for any time you need a steady, quiet protector for your family. The seven sorrows and joys include the shock of Mary's pregnancy, the flight into Egypt and the finding in the Temple. Praying them helps you bring your own family trials to the one who guarded the Holy Family and stayed faithful in silence.

Opening Prayer
O God, come to my assistance.
O Lord, make haste to help me.
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
O Saint Joseph, guardian of Jesus and chaste spouse of Mary, you who passed your whole life in perfect fulfillment of duty, supporting the Holy Family of Nazareth through the labor of your hands, graciously protect those who trustingly come to you. You know their desires, their troubles, their needs. We come to you because we are sinners, but we come with confidence, knowing that you were appointed by God Himself to be the protector of His Son and the patron of His Church.
Pray for us, Saint Joseph, that we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.

Concluding Prayer
O Saint Joseph, whose protection is so great, so strong, so prompt before the throne of God, I place in you all my interests and desires. O Saint Joseph, do assist me by your powerful intercession and obtain for me from your Divine Son all spiritual blessings, through Jesus Christ, our Lord; so that, having engaged here below your heavenly power, I may offer my thanksgiving and homage to the most loving of Fathers.
