Intention: For Peace, Understanding, and Healing in Difficult Relationships
Lord Jesus, You commanded us to love our enemies and to pray for those who persecute us. I bring before You the difficult relationships in my life, asking for Your grace to respond with love.
Lord God, You created us for communion with one another, yet sin has made our relationships difficult. I struggle with a relationship that causes me pain, frustration, or sorrow.
Grant me the grace to see this person as You see them — as Your beloved child, struggling with their own wounds and weaknesses. Help me not to return evil for evil, but to overcome evil with good.
Give me wisdom to know when to speak and when to be silent, when to draw near and when to keep a healthy distance. Free me from bitterness and the desire for revenge. Fill me instead with compassion, patience, and genuine love.
