Novena for Patience – prayer for all nine days

Intention: For the Grace of Patience and Trust in God's Perfect Timing

Heavenly Father, You are never late and Your timing is always perfect. Yet I struggle to wait. Grant me the grace of patience — patience with others, patience with myself, and patience with Your plan for my life.

Lord God, I confess that patience does not come easily to me. I want answers now, results now, relief now. But Your ways are not my ways, and Your timetable is not mine.

Teach me to wait on You with hope and trust. Help me to believe that the delays I experience are not denials but part of Your greater plan. Grant me the grace to endure difficulties without complaining, to bear with others without resentment, and to trust You without demanding to know why.

St. Monica prayed for 30 years for the conversion of her son Augustine, and You heard her prayer in a way beyond what she could have imagined. Give me that same persevering faith.
