St. Joseph Novena – 9 Days of Prayer
Powerful intercession of the foster father of Jesus
St. Joseph is the quiet figure who protected Mary and raised Jesus, and the Church honours him as Patron of the Universal Church. He speaks no recorded words in the Gospels, yet his steady work and obedience have made him the patron of fathers, workers and anyone who needs a protector. This novena invites you to bring your family, your work and your worries to him, nine days at a time. Pray it before his feast on March 19, or at any moment when you need reliable help.
A novena is nine consecutive days of prayer. Begin nine days before the feast (March 19) and finish on its eve. You can pray this novena at any time of year.

Intention: For the Intercession of St. Joseph
O glorious St. Joseph, foster father of Jesus Christ and true spouse of the Virgin Mary, pray for us and for the dying of this day (or night).
O glorious St. Joseph, foster father of Jesus Christ and true spouse of the Virgin Mary, pray for us and for the dying of this day (or night). Remember, O most pure spouse of Mary, ever Virgin, my loving protector, St. Joseph, that no one ever had recourse to your protection or asked for your aid without obtaining relief. Confiding, therefore, in your goodness, I come before you and humbly implore you. Despise not my petitions, foster father of our Redeemer, but graciously receive them. Amen.
