St. Therese Novena – 9 Days of Prayer
For missions and the Little Way of simple love
St. Therese of Lisieux, known as the Little Flower, taught that holiness does not require great deeds, only small acts done with great love. This novena follows her Little Way and her promise to spend her heaven doing good on earth, often connected with the sign of roses. It suits anyone who feels ordinary, overlooked or overwhelmed, and who wants a gentle, trusting way to pray. Her feast is October 1, which makes the novena a natural companion to the start of autumn. She died at twenty-four.
A novena is nine consecutive days of prayer. Begin nine days before the feast (October 1) and finish on its eve. You can pray this novena at any time of year.

Intention: For the Grace of St. Therese's Little Way
O Little Flower of Jesus, ever consoling troubled souls with heavenly graces, in your unfailing intercession I place my confident trust.
O Little Therese of the Child Jesus, please pick for me a rose from the heavenly gardens and send it to me as a message of love. O Little Flower of Jesus, ask God to grant the favors I now place with confidence in your hands. St. Therese, help me to always believe as you did, in God's great love for me, so that I may imitate your Little Way each day. Amen.
Pray this prayer once a day for nine days in a row.
