Corpus Christi Novena – prayer for all nine days

Intention: For Eucharistic Faith, Adoration, and a Deeper Love for the Mass

Lord Jesus, truly present in the Blessed Sacrament — Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity — I adore You. With St. Thomas Aquinas I sing: 'Adoro te devote, latens Deitas.' I devoutly adore You, O hidden Deity.

Lord Jesus, You said: 'I am the living bread which came down from heaven. Whoever eats of this bread will live forever, and the bread that I will give for the life of the world is My flesh.'

Many who heard these words walked away because it was too hard to believe. But I want to stay. I want to say with Peter: 'Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life.'

Deepen my faith in Your Real Presence. Let me never receive You in Communion casually or without preparation. Let me spend time before the tabernacle in silent adoration — knowing that I am with You and You are with me.
