Intention: For the Grace of Conversion

Lord, You called St. Augustine from a life of sin to become one of the greatest Doctors of the Church. Through his intercession, grant the grace of conversion to all who have wandered far from You.

Great St. Augustine, you who wandered far from God in your youth and were brought back to the faith by the grace of God and the prayers of your holy mother St. Monica, pray for me and for all who seek the Lord.

You said: "Late have I loved You, O Beauty ever ancient, ever new, late have I loved You! You were within me, but I was outside. You called, You shouted, and You broke through my deafness. You breathed Your fragrance on me; I drew in breath and now I pant for You."
