Intention: For the Grace to Bring Christ to Others Through Charity and Service
Blessed Virgin Mary, in haste you journeyed to the hill country to visit your cousin Elizabeth. As you entered her home, she was filled with the Holy Spirit, and the child in her womb leapt for joy. May your joy be our joy, and may we, like you, hasten to bring Christ to those who need Him most.
O Most Blessed Virgin Mary, on the day of the Annunciation you received the Word made flesh — and your first impulse was to go and serve your cousin Elizabeth. Not for your own joy did you rush to the hill country, but out of love for another. You carried within you the Source of all grace, and grace flowed wherever you went.
Teach us to imitate your charity. When we receive Christ in the Eucharist, in prayer, in the sacraments — may we, like you, carry Him into the world. May we be instruments of blessing to our families, our communities, and all those entrusted to our care.

As this Month of Mary draws to a close, we thank you for your maternal guidance. You have led us through May in prayer, sacrifice, and devotion to the Rosary. We close this month as Elizabeth closed that first visit — filled with wonder and praise, moved to sing the Magnificat with you:
“My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior.”
Holy Mary, our Lady of Charity, pray that the joy you carried into the house of Elizabeth may overflow into every house and heart that needs it. Bring Christ where He is not known. Bring peace where there is division. Bring healing where there is sorrow.
